Terms of Use

Please respect our copyright

This site provides retirement income for a married senior citizen couple. Please respect our copyright. If our poems are sent or posted in violation of the Terms of Use below, then our site loses value and our retirement income decreases.

All of our poems are protected by paid, registered, federal copyright, and we are in the process of publishing a book of our poems. We also license our poems, for a licensing fee for use on hard goods, such as gifts.

We are having problems with copyright violations. We are following up on violations, and we have taken appropriate action on violations of the 1998 Digital Millennium Copyright Act with regard to our site, and we will continue to do so.

We are delighted to give you permission, free of charge, to share any or all of these poems with other individuals you care about, one person to one other person at a time; for example, you to your mother, and, separately, you to your spouse, and, separately, you to your friend, and, separately, you to your other friend, etc. Please include the author's name (Joanna Fuchs or Karl Fuchs) and the Web site address, www.poemsource.com. You can use tiny print if you want, just so it's there.

Feel free to print the poems from our site or copy and paste them to your word processor or type them. Then you can use them on your greeting cards or e-cards, or you can print and frame them and give them as gifts. In all cases, the author's name and the Web site address, www.poemsource.com, must be included.

Please do not send our poems to people by e-mail. If you want a person, or group of people (as in a group e-mail) to see our poems, please send them to our site to view the poems, rather than printing the poems in the e-mail. Type our Web site address, www.poemsource.com, into your e-mail. If your e-mail is HTML-enabled, they can click the automatically generated link. If not, they can type our address into their Web browser to go to our site.

No commercial uses are permitted without specific, written permission, with an inked signature. Commercial activities prohibited include, but are not limited to: selling the poems, putting them on items to be sold, or otherwise making money from them, exchanging anything of value for them, or using them to increase the value of your Web site or blog, or print publication, or electronic publication, or any other kind of publication, or any other commercial use.

Note: We have published some of our poems at article sites, such as ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com and articlecity.com. You are, of course, free to publish those articles at your site, as long as you follow the article site's policy of publishing the entire article, top to bottom, including the resource box at the bottom of the article, which includes my name as author and a live, clickable link to this site.

If you'd like to use one of our poems at your Web site or blog or in your e-zine or newsletter, no charge, please use the contact form at our site to request permission. If we grant permission, the author's name after the poem and a live, clickable link to our site is required. We will be happy to provide the HTML code so that the link to our site opens in a new window, so you don't lose your visitor.

We hope you enjoy the poems at poemsource.com and that they can help deepen your relationships with the people who are important to you.

Thank you for visiting our site!
