Writing a birthday message to someone I cared about, I guess I would include how glad I am they were born! I would include happy memories of times we have spent together, how richly that person has added to my life, and what a big gap there would have been had he or she not been there.
In my birthday wish, I would also include compliments about their good qualities; everyone likes that! I would tell them that when they blow out the candles on their birthday cake, I fervently wish that the birthday wish comes true!
I wish I could write a birthday poem, but I'd just keep writing text, and I would also wish them many more happy birthdays, surrounded by family and everyone who loves them. Finally, I would say I hope they like my birthday gift!
